Jonathan set up MBM Consulting with Michael Mulvey in 2000. His goal has been to create a high quality, specialist consultancy which is valued by its Clients through the delivery of high quality service generating tangible results.

His career started with various PQS practices, but developed to helping contracting organisations whilst working for a major dispute resolution practice. Consequently he has experienced “both sides of the fence” and can provide objective advice to Employer and contracting organisations alike.

Jonathan has given contract advice, prepared numerous time and quantum claims as well as representing Claimants and Respondents in adjudication proceedings. He has also written a number of articles for eminent trade publications including Construction News and Institution of Civil Engineering Surveyors Construction Law Review.

SPECIFIC EXPERIENCE:

Jonathan has provided contractual advice and risk analysis for contractors, sub contractors developers and Client organisations. He has prepared numerous claims for extension of time as well as the assessment of quantum, including productivity analysis. He has successfully represented parties in adjudication proceedings preparing numerous Notices, Referrals and Response documents. Specific projects that he has worked on include the Jubilee Line Extension Project, Portcullis House, Scottish Parliament Building , Charlton Athletic Football Ground and the Channel Tunnel Rail Link.

· ACI Arb: Associate Chartered Institute of Arbitrators

· Post Graduate Certificate in Construction Contract Law & Administration
