Andrew has obtained more than 22 years of experience working within the construction and his experience with Contractors, Private Quantity Surveying practice and Employers alike gives him a valuable insight into all sides of the construction industry from pre-purchase of the site right through to the occupation of the site and he is therefore well placed to give reliable commercial and construction law advice.

His depth of knowledge in respect of construction law services includes the preparation and defence of monetary claims, points of law presentation and rebuttal, production of the final account in accordance with the parties contract, early case evaluation of the dispute, preparation and representation for the referring and responding parties in Adjudication, case management of the adjudication process, Arbitration, Litigation, Mediation and Conciliation support.

In addition, Andrew’s quantity surveying skills has enabled him to negotiate with local authorities, employers, staff, contractors, sub-contractors and banks, undertake project monitoring for banks and other investors, contribute to the investment appraisal of potential sites for purchase including the provision of a feasibility study on the construction and fees related cost, cost planning services, change control management, risk and value management, value engineering, procurement and contractual framework strategies, security for performance and payment options, cash flow forecasting, cost reporting, insurance provisions and insurance claims, valuation of work, VAT analysis, contract administration and the appointment and management of other consultants to the project including, but not limited to, the architect, structural engineer, services engineer, acoustic consultant, building control officer, party wall surveyors.
